Routes and stations
Super Jet links Cairo with Alexandria (stops include Moharam Bek and Miami), Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, Aswan, Marsa Matrouh and the Sinai towns of Taba and Nuweiba.
Since late 2024 it has also served New Alamein, with routes from Marsa Matrouh via El Alamein to Alexandria and Cairo. The company also serves some Arab countries.
Tickets and fares
Fares are in Egyptian pounds and depend on the route and whether you choose an economy or luxury bus. Prices change, so check before you travel.
How to book
You can buy tickets at Super Jet stations, online, or in the Superjet app. The app is in Arabic, lets you choose stations such as Ramses or the Airport, and accepts cards and digital wallets.
Your e-ticket is sent to your phone, so printing is not needed.
Tips for travellers
Buses have air conditioning and usually a toilet; Wi-Fi is available on many trips but not guaranteed. Upper Egypt routes run mostly at night.
Almaza station is handy if you arrive at Cairo Airport. Leave extra time for checkpoints on Sinai and Red Sea roads.
The fleet includes coaches from MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Marcopolo and Neoplan. Reviews describe the buses as good value, though some trips run late, so plan a buffer before flights or ferries.
