Tips for travellers
North line trains are less frequent than East line trains, and some routes run only on certain days. Check the timetable on the SAR journey planner before you plan your trip.
Read the SAR baggage policy before you travel. If you carry more than the free allowance, buy extra baggage online in advance.
SAR also runs the Haramain high-speed line in the west. There is no direct train between Riyadh and Jeddah yet.
