Tips for travellers
Each adult may take one large bag up to 25 kg and 65 x 55 x 35 cm, plus one small item such as a backpack. All bags are screened before boarding.
Trains often sell out in Ramadan and the Hajj season. Book early and save your QR ticket offline, as mobile signal can be weak on platforms.
If you land at Jeddah airport for Umrah, enter ihram before your flight crosses the miqat. Do not wait for the airport station.
