Orange (Line 3) is the longest line and follows Madinah Road across the city. Yellow (Line 4) is the airport line. Green (Line 5) follows King Abdulaziz Road. Purple (Line 6) arcs through the north-east.

Blue, Yellow and Purple opened on 1 December 2024. Red and Green followed on 15 December 2024, and Orange on 5 January 2025. KAFD is a major interchange served by several lines.
