Italo has no limit on the number of bags. In Smart class, each bag must be no larger than 75 x 53 x 30 cm. A bigger bag in Smart can bring a fine of about €10. Prima and Club allow larger bags. Some coaches have lockers.
There is no hot food on board. Smart has vending machines for snacks and drinks. Prima gets drinks and snacks at the seat, and Club gets food and drink throughout. You may bring your own food and drink, which helps families who prefer halal meals.
Smart class has a Cinema car with films on screens, which children often enjoy. Club Executive has a quiet carriage.
Club Salotto is a private compartment for up to four people, good for a family wanting privacy. It is booked as a whole.
